As a Ground Water Adventurer, be a leader in helping others to learn about ground water. Why not organize a ground water awareness project for your school during National Ground Water Awareness Week (March 12-18, 2006)? If you do, we will feature you and your project on our Web site.
Come up with an idea. Talk with your teacher about it. The point is for the students in your class to learn something about ground water.
Your project can focus on topics such as:
- The water cycle
- Ground water protection
- How wells work (edible aquifers)
- How ground water is used
Be creative! You are limited only by your imagination.
Your teacher can get a free water cycle poster for the classroom by going to www.ngwa.org, clicking on “Educator Resources” and signing the guest book.
