The National Ground Water Association is a membership organization representing 15,000 U.S. and international ground water professionals ground water professionals including ground water contractors, scientists and engineers, and manufacturers and distributors. NGWA provides members, the general public and government with information and the scientific knowledge to responsibly develop, protect, and manage the world’s ground water resources.
In addition to the Ground Water Adventurers Web site, NGWA operates two other sites: www.ngwa.org for members and ground water professionals, and www.wellowner.org for people who own private, household water wells.
NGWA’s mission is to enhance the skills and credibility of all ground water professionals, develop and exchange industry knowledge, and promote the ground water industry and understanding of ground water resources.
It is the last part of NGWA’s mission statement – promoting an understanding of ground water resources – that the Ground Water Adventurers Web site is designed to meet.
